Kiraz Mevsimi (2014 Turkish Drama)
Kiraz Mevsimi follows Öykü Acar, a modest, ambitious fashion design student living with her mother Meral and younger brother Cem in a traditional Istanbul neighborhood. Since childhood, Öykü has loved Mete, her best friend Burcu’s brother, but he never notices her until he falls for Öykü’s jealous friend Şeyma. Heartbroken, Öykü meets Mete’s wealthy, womanizing business partner Ayaz Dincer. After a mistaken love letter makes Ayaz believe Öykü loves him, she pretends they’re a couple to hide her true feelings. Their fake romance slowly turns real as careers, family pressures, and rivalries collide.
